Short month of February is long on live music shows

February is typically a busy month in the live-music world, a time when arenas, theaters and clubs climb out of the post-holiday doldrums. This year, February has an extra day, which means a month that already was brimming with live-music opportunities is 24 hours fatter with choices and opportunities.

THE late Ricky Hui was not only an accomplished actor, but an excellent singer and composer as well. He had seven albums to his name, most of them on vinyl back in the 1970s and 1980s. He also wrote songs for his more popular siblings, Sam and Michael.
